Rhode Island Black Film Festival: Black Classics Under the Stars

The Rhode Island Black Film Festival presents the annual Black Classics Under the Stars, featuring an evening of live music followed by one of your favorite films.

Legendary local saxophonist Randy Ashe, of Ashe & Company, will start the evening off with a little blues and jazz at 7:00 PM.  The modern classic Dreamgirls, all star cast of Jennifer Hudson, Beyoncé and Jaime Foxx will start at 7:55 PM.  Bring your own blanket or lawn chair. Near Michael Van Leesten bridge.
