Carlyle

Carlyle’s listeners value their introspective lyrics and catchy melodies, often commenting that their vocal blend makes them sound “like sisters.” The pair began as bandmates and vocalists in the group Waking Elliot, a CT-based alternative rock band. After releasing two successful EPs with that group, Mary and Allyson continued on as Carlyle. Now composing primarily on ukulele and piano, the softer side of this duo truly shines. Their newly released songs, “Rear View Mirror” and “Our Place” exemplify Carlyle’s raw talent and authenticity.
