Summer 2024 will be our 17th Farmers Market season! The market will run weekly from Friday, June 21st to Friday, August 30th from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on the grounds of the Church of the Holy Spirit, 4150 Old Post Rd in Charlestown, RI.
While saying a fond farewell and a hearty thank you to our Market Manager Julia Bancroft, it is with enthusiasm that we welcome this year’s Market Managers, a Mother-Daughter team, Rosemary Galiani and Elise Mutschler. They are returning to our market bringing their experience and creativity with them.
Once again you can look forward to enjoying local, fresh produce, fruits, honey, shellfish, specially prepared dishes, baked goods, and more! Join us for a summer’s worth of live music while celebrating South County’s summer bounty. Enjoy meeting and talking to different local service groups each week. Hosted by the Charlestown Land Trust, the market focuses on building community with local and seasonal visitors alike, and sharing the recent initiatives of land preservation in our cherished town.
The Charlestown Land Trust has been preserving and protecting the distinctive character of our local area and offers this market as a way for the community to connect while promoting land stewardship.
