Divey, the musical moniker of Alexander (Alex) Garzone, is a Providence-based songwriter, producer, deejay, and multi-instrumentalist. Starting his music journey at just 15, his first paid studio gig was at Dragon Fly Studios on Martha’s Vineyard. Since then, Divey has worked as an assistant engineer with artists like KRS-One and Keisza and collaborated with acts including Baby FuzZ, the Low Anthem, and Dazy Park. Known for his “mesmerizing dreamscape” sound, Divey performs solo or with his band, Divey & the Likes, featuring Marc Jablecki, Ben Wicks-Tucker, and Frank Mullin.
