Opening Reception @ The Lab with Chris Deschenes

Hi. I’m Chris. I’m a photographer/actor/amateur meteorologist, born in Providence, raised in Swansea & currently residing in Boston. This exhibition is a mishmash of photos I’ve taken over the years; that drawer in your house full of knick-knacks that someday might come in handy. One common thread is that they all exist by approaching the world with curiosity rather than fear/apprehension. This planet is a big, beautiful place & these photos are a tapestry of shared moments with strangers I’ll never meet again, as well as memories with some of the most wonderful people I have ever met, co-existing. These are some of my favorite photos that I hope you like, too.
