Polly Bessette is a singer/songwriter from Warren, Rhode Island with a passion for lyricism and folky tunes. Her music captures the ears of many through her raw and thoughtful recollections of universal growing pains in the sweetest of sounds. Polly’s music is inspired by late 1960s folk, indie folk, and Americana.
Polly was nominated for a 2024 RI Motif Music Award for Best Folk Act. She was placed on the Official Ballot for the 67th annual Grammy Awards for her songs ‘Sane Baby’ and ‘Little Confessions’ both for Record of the Year and Best American Roots Performance.
