Julia Zimring is an arts educator and administrator from Los Angeles, CA. With a background in art history, museum pedagogies, and memory studies, she is passionate about interdisciplinary and informal learning. Julia has a BA in Peace & Conflict Studies from UC Berkeley and an MA in Public Humanities from Brown University. She has previously worked at the Japanese American National Museum, the Harvard Art Museums, and currently serves as the Communications Coordinator at the Brown Arts Institute.
Jess Costanza is a linguist from Pittsburgh, PA — a city whose love for its arts scene she’s found vibrantly reflected in Providence. Through fascination with the words we use to describe our experiences, Jess earned her BA in Linguistics from Western Washington University. Prior to this, Jess studied under interdisciplinary teaching/learning practices at The Evergreen State College, where a fateful class trip to the Tacoma Art Museum sparked her curiosity toward museum decolonization and the interplay between artists and observers. She has previously worked in nonprofit arts administration and programming in Providence, and currently works in translation management.
