Sophie Wellington and Friends at Nick-a-Nee’s

Sophie Wellington is a Boston based fiddler, singer and guitarist, and percussive dancer. Originally from Virginia, she grew up steeped in the old time and bluegrass communities. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2021 and has since released a solo album, along with playing in a few local country and bluegrass bands. She’s excited to bring an all star band to Nick a Nees, a group of skilled young women including Moriah Ozberkmen (fiddle), Emmarose Turroff (mandolin), and Hazel Royer (bass). The Strung Up Sisters are eager to put a new and exciting twist to classic bluegrass favorites.
