Make the season bright during Providence’s Three Nights of Lights. This annual three-day festival returns to the city December 5, 6 and 7, and features fun for the whole family, with citywide events incorporating the theme of light. Festivities include installations and activations by WaterFire, FirstWorks and The Avenue Concept, tree lightings, live entertainment, holiday markets, and so much more.

Gallery Night will offer two free guided trolley tours leaving from the Graduate. This is a fun way to check out some galleries and “Buy Art” for the holidays. Tours will stop at two partner galleries exhibiting small works/buy art shows, as well as The Avenue Concept’s Three Nights of Lights activation.

Step into a glowing world of light and music that you have a hand in creating! This interactive sound and light instrument for spontaneous, cooperative composition is comprised of 25 cubes representing individual notes in spatial dimension and time. Unique sound and light scores are created with each audience engagement.
Grant’s Block transforms into an enchanting outdoor holiday marketplace to gather, shop, drink, eat and support local businesses. Nearby shops and restaurants will be serving holiday cheer with specials, curated gifts and holiday programming.
This festive tree lighting event features live musical performances by two youth choirs and headliner Chachi Carvalho, a Santa Parade, Trinity Rep carolers, food trucks and more!
