Community MusicWorks students take the stage to perform solo, duo, and ensemble pieces for family and friends. Come by and cheer on our young musicians! The event is followed by a potluck—bring a dish to share. Student Performance Party Saturday, February 8 at 2 pm Admission is free
For this event, Community MusicWorks is thrilled to welcome scholar, writer, and musician Jeremy Eichler, whose recent award-winning book Time’s Echo makes an eloquent case for the role of music as memory-bearer for culture. The evening’s program will include a presentation by Jeremy followed by a MusicWorks Collective performance of Richard Strauss’s late masterpiece Metamorphosen.
